The weather put a damper on our days in Southern California. In fact, I've been to the LA area four times now, and the weather has been overcast, cloudy, and cold (for a native Floridian) each time I've visited. I'm beginning to think that good weather in Southern California is a bogus rumor.
The weather was a definite buzz-kill. We still tried to do a tour of beaches from Santa Barbara south to Huntington, the Hearst Castle, and stayed away from the glitz and glamour of LA. Unfortunately, we still managed to get a taste of LA traffic along Hwy 1 and didn't get to add a celebrity sighting ot the CCRT.
